But seems to have gone a full cycle: I can see the three of them working now. I won't be bored next year!
Geo: 'It's lemons in the still lifes' is my new favourite motto. So bacatcha, as the young people say :-)
Susan: the bleach was in a bleach bottle, which wasn't too sensible. (Result of delegating housework to children.) And inducing vomit was probably the wrong thing to do- straight to hospital much better idea! Can see this needs some more information- so easy to get lost in a world and not remember other people can't see it! Thank you for the pointers, very useful :-) Happy Weekend, Happy December and please all lay off the bleach! xxLisa Southardhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09711376747848601409noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6500425810028077954.post-58219780170338697982012-12-01T04:15:00.032+00:002012-12-01T04:15:00.032+00:00You do a great job of portraying this young girl a...You do a great job of portraying this young girl and how she feels about herself, her family, her name, and life in general. Her misery is almost palpable when her baby sister drinks the bleach. But I can't help but wonder why there was bleach in the shampoo bottle in the first place. That Charleigh was so preoccupied that she didn't pay much attention to her sister pretending to drink the "lemonade" is perfectly understandable and believable, but until Peta drank it, I thought there was shampoo in the bottle. At any rate, the emotion in your snippet is terrific, and I do hope you'll continue with it. One thing, though. I'm not sure, but inducing vomiting after ingesting bleach might not be the best thing to do. It would seem that would cause additional burning. (But I could be wrong... and am too lazy to look it up right now.) Anyhow, good job. I like it!
